My name is Josh Foster and given the opportunity, I can elevate your poker game.
My poker journey started 15 years ago, playing on Full Tilt Poker as a 16-year-old. From that day, I knew poker was going to be a significant part of my life. The strategy associated with the game, combined with the eliminate of risk drew me in immediately. Having an addictive personality, poker gave me something positive to devote my time and energy into and I will be forever grateful for finding it.
When I began playing, I was a big loser. I would deposit and lose repeatedly until one day I decided to try and study the game. I started dedicating more time to studying and understanding the game then actually playing. I would use all different types of resources to improve my game. Resources such as training websites like Tournament Poker Edge and more recently Run It Once, spending hours reading through poker forums like 2+2 and Pocket 5s and watching the best online poker players play while being in skype chats with them discussing their thought processes.
Throughout my poker playing career I have been privileged enough to play and become friends with some of the best poker players in the world. Whether it is playing a low stake, No Limit Holdem tournament or a high limit Pot Limit Omaha cash game, I always try and play my best and most importantly have fun. In my life I have played tens of millions of poker hands, there is rarely a situation I haven’t seen before and an optimal strategy to approach the spot.
